Making a New Project

Spin up a fresh cloud project in Circuitcaster — from the Projects panel to a blank board, ready for parts. Five taps, about two minutes.

STEP 01

Open the Projects panel

From any board, open the Projects panel. It lists the board you're on plus every cloud project you've saved. Tap the green New button to start a fresh one.

STEP 02

Start a new cloud project

The New cloud project dialog opens. Every project lives in the cloud, so there's nothing to install and nothing to configure — just a name to fill in.

STEP 03

Name it — a description helps

Type a clear name like 555 timer circuit. The description is optional, but a one-line note on what the board does pays off later.

Tip: that description is also what an AI reads when you hand it the board — the clearer it is, the better the help you get back.

The new project appears under Cloud projects

STEP 04

Tap Create

Your project appears instantly under Cloud projects — versioned v1 and saved. No save button, no setup step, nothing to lose.

Load the new project to open a blank board

STEP 05

Load it and start building

Tap Load to open your new board — a blank canvas ready for parts. From the same menu you can rename it, share it, or hand it straight to AI. That's a new project, start to finish.
