Creating a Circuit with AI

Start with your project

Open the board you want to build on — an empty canvas is fine. Here it is a fresh project called 555 timer random blink led, ready for parts.

Tap Share to AI, paste the prompt into Claude, ChatGPT, or any LLM, and just say what you want: make a 555 timer circuit that blinks an LED randomly. No part numbers, no schematic — the prompt already carries edit access to your board.

The AI gets oriented

It reads your current board, pulls the Circuitcaster manual, and picks the right parts — real datasheet dimensions, every pin named. You do not explain the format; it already knows it.

A complete circuit, ready to build

The finished 555 lands wired and labeled — GND, TRIG, OUT, VCC, DIS, THR — with its resistors, caps, LED and light sensor in a stocked library. From here it exports straight to KiCad and an orderable parts list.

Tip: library-first means every part carries a real part number — so your board is not just drawn, it is buyable.
